Five Fab UK Destinations Every Group Should Visit!

 

Looking for the next place to visit with your group?  We've put together a list of five UK destinations we think should definitely be on your list!

 

 

1. Windsor

 

Windsor is an attractive town which has lots of history and lots going on! Groups will find they are spoilt for choice when it comes to attractions; perhaps enjoy a guided tour of Her Majesty's Royal Residence, Windsor Castle, explore the world famous Eton College or take a short drive to visit the beautiful Savill Garden. Those who want to take in the town from a different perspective should definitely head to the riverbed to take a relaxing cruise along the River Thames.

 

2. Cardiff

 

Smaller than its English equivalent, the capital city of Cardiff offers a more relaxed approach while still keeping its visitors thoroughly entertained. Groups can discover Welsh heritage with visits to the magnificent Cardiff Castle and The National Museum. Or, if sport is more your thing, why not head to the Millennium Stadium for a guided tour or to watch the latest match? And, if you are looking to evoke childhood memories, how does a visit to the Doctor Who Experience sound? 

 

 

3. Oxford

 

The University City of Oxford is well-known for its iconic architecture and historic buildings. Named the 'City of Dreaming Spires', a term coined by Victorian poet Matthew Arnold because of the city's many magnificent buildings, Oxford is a great place to explore. Groups can arrange private guided tours of the area which provide an insight in to the glorious architecture and famous University buildings, visit the many museums or perhaps hire a boat and enjoy a cruise along the river.

 

 

4. Isle of Wight

 

A short journey across the Solent and you get the sense that you're away from it all. At only 25 miles in length, the Isle of Wight is a charming destination offering a variety of great attractions located just a stone's throw from one another - so you can pack lots in to your day!  Groups of all ages can enjoy the Isle of Wight with attractions including Osborne House, the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, Ventnor Botanical Gardens, The Isle of Wight Pearl, Dinosaur Isle and more.

 

 

5. London

 

A little predictable, but we couldn't leave London out - our capital city has so much to offer! London provides groups of all ages a fantastic choice of attractions, from its award-winning museums - often with free entrance, it's iconic buildings (Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, The Tower of London, The Shard... the list goes on...), it's great shopping destinations and the renowned West End - a day out in London is never dull to say the least!
