Time permitting we will visit the sites of Tynecot, Langermark and Essex Farm before returning to Ypres for "The Last Post " ceremony.
The battles which took place in Flanders and The Somme from 1914-1918 were on a massive scale and left countless thousands dead. The evidence of the Great War is most obvious in Ypres, which serves as an excellent base to tour the battlefield sites.
Another reminder of war is the Menin Gate Memorial and the Cloth Hall - totally rebuilt after being completely destroyed during the First World War.
Time permitting we will visit the sites of Tynecot,Langermark and Essex Farm before returning to Ypres for "The Last Post " ceremony.
